We stayed at Brundavana Homestay in August. We experienced the best hospitality with all warmth of a homely environment. Food quality is good. We didn't felt need of anything more. Location is very nice. Rooms are very clean and has all amenities. Host Ajay was very helpful with a pleasant smile. Definaitely one of the top homestay in Ballavara village. I recommend this place to everyone, specially families and couples.

Brundavana Homestay is one of the finest Chikmagalur homestay, located in a beautiful scenic spot. Hospitality and food was excellent; If you happen to visit, you have to taste the Malnad-style akki rotis, made from dough that uses both cooked rice and rice flour in the mix, plumped up like phulkas, served with non-veg curry......tastes awesome.

Kalhatti Falls or Kalahasti Falls is located at Kallattipura (kallathigiri) in Chikmagalur district of Karnataka, India. The waterfall is 10 kilometers away from Kemmangundi hill station. It offers an excellent view of the cascading water from the Chandra Drona Hill.
This hill station is located in the Tarikere Taluk. The hill station is situated at an elevation of about 1400 metres. Also known as the Sri Krishnarajendra Hill Station, Kemmangundi was frequented by kings as a summer retreat centre. Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV started this trend during his time of visiting this place in the summers.
